How to Get The Most Iconic Movie Outfits

Have you ever wanted to look just like your favorite movie character? Well it's easier than you may think. These movie outfits have shaped fashion even today, even though some of them are older than I am. We can draw inspiration from anything, especially when it comes to fashion, and pop culture is one of the biggest one. These movies are not the most recent, but they have more of an impact then the newer ones.

"Breakfast at Tiffany's"
Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Hepburn is known for the "Little Black Dress." Way back in 1961 the LBD was born. This look is still just as popularly today as it was then. This is a very easy look to make your own and still keep the authenticity of the iconic look.

"Grease"

"Grease" is in a category all on its own, between the amazing music and 70's fashion this is one that will always be popular. The most popular trend that blossomed from this movie was the black-on-black look. I wear this look all the time. All black is one of my go to looks. I created this look by pairing leather pants, leather leggings, and black crop top. Just add black leather jacket to any outfit and you will be channeling your inner "Bad Sandy."

"Clueless"
Cher

Clueless is the ultimate 90's movie with amazing style. I love Cher's style. The 90's was not the greatest era for fashion, but for Cher that was not the case. Plaid skirts and tall socks is her signature look. Pair a plaid skirt with tall socks and you will feel like you transformed back to the 90's.

"Sex and the City"
Carrie Bradshaw

Carrie Bradshaw always looks fabulous. She takes risks and goes all out in every single outfit. She shows us all how to be ourselves, and to not be afraid to take risks. To get this look I paired a red tulle dress with a big full skirt and black leather jacket. Don't be afraid to take risk and be over the top.

"Legally Blonde"
Elle Woods

When I think "Legally Blonde", I think ultimate fashion. In this movie, Reese Witherspoon changed over 50 times throughout the movie. Elle Woods is very pink. Everyone needs confidence like Elle Wood's, just add pink to every piece of your outfit and you nailed it. What makes Elle so unique is not only her love of pink and flashy outfits, but her confidence. Fashion is all about being your yourself and going for it, just like Elle. Elle makes women feel like they can do anything, and if you have that confidence you will make any outfit amazing.
