DIY Laundry Detergent

Ingredients
1 bar of glycerin soap, grated finely
1 cup of washing soda
1/2 cup of baking soda
1/2 cup of citric acid
1/4 cup of coarse salt

The glycerin grated bar soap  is a by product of reindering fats and often made from vegtible oil or animal fats. This soap has no parabens but does contain color dye but is paraben and lauryl sulfate free which is better for the water systems and better than other detergents. Baking soda is made from soda ash or sodium carbonate which is a natural source. Baking soda can make water system become salty disrupting eco system but is the better alternative than other harmful chemicals used in detergents. Citric acid biodegrades in the environment and washing soda is non-toxic. This detergent cleans clothes just as well as any other detergent but is better for the environment and cost less.
 
For use put 1/4 of a cup in each load, this may vary according to how big indivdual loads of laundry are.  

DIY Body Scrub

Ingredients
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of coconut oil
1 teaspoon of vanilla

None of these products can harm the environment and are great for exfoliating and replinishing your skin. The coconut oil is extracted from the coconut kernel that are harvested from the coconut palm. The brown sugar will dissolve in water which means it cannot harm the water systems. The vanilla is natural and will not disrupt the water systems.
