Ballin on a Budget
BALLIN' on a Budget

Being a college student can be stressful..
You have bills, rent and food expenses to pay and not a lot of wiggle room for extra spending money on clothes and other extra items. Here are a little tips on how to not break your bank account on clothes!
GET THE APPS
I am such a coupon shopper! There are SO many different apps that you can have on the tip of your fingers. The apps are perfect for online coupons, so you do not have to actually print or clip coupons. Whenever I go shopping I always look up to see if the store I am at has a coupon. This will save you so much money in the end, even if it is 20% off, this will at least help a little bit! A couple of my favorites are RetailMeNot, Shopular, Checkout 51 and Shopkick. RetailMeNot and Shopular are more for getting discounts and coupons for stores. Checkout 51 and Shopkicks get you money back for actually shopping. Check them out, you will not regret it;)
KNOW YOUR STORES
You need to do research on which stores have good deals on brands you love. TJ Maxx is one of my favorite stores because it has a lot of name brand items for CHEAP. I know a lot of people do not like second-hand stores, but honestly you can find some really great finds at some stores. Some of my favorites are Goodwill, Plato's Closet and Bombshells here in Warrensburg. Goodwill might be pushing it on finding nicer items, but Plato's Closet and Bombshells have gently used items. If you are like me, I do not care about where I get my clothes from as long as they are in decent condition and affordable.
Outfit From: Bombshells
Top: BKE top $14 and Poof fringe vest $12
Total: $26
I hope these tips help you save a little more money on your shopping trips!
